The night after their grandfather's funeral, three cousins engage in a verbal (and sometimes physical) battle. In one corner is Daphna Feygenbam (Jeanette Deutsch), a "Real Jew" who is volatile, self-assure, and unbending. In the other is her equally stubborn cousin Liam (Noah James), a secular and entitled young man, who has his shiska girlfriend, Melody (Lila Hood), in tow. Stuck in the middle is Liam’s brother, Jonah (Austin Rogers), who tries to stay out of the fray. When Liam stakes claim to their grandfather's Chai necklace, a vicious and hilarious brawl over family, faith, and legacy ensues.

“CRITIC’S CHOICE… as effervescent as it is corrosive, a brilliantly caustic play that frames serious issues of Jewish identity within a breathtaking blitzkrieg of dialogue that will make your eardrums smolder.. a comically acute production that goes gleefully over-the-top yet remains authentic..” — F. Kathleen Foley, Los Angeles Times
“RECOMMENDED… STAGE RAW TOP 10… a powerful production that cleverly employs humor to address touchy topics.” — Lara Altunian, Stage Raw
“A FAST-PACED 90-MINUTE ROMP… an often hilarious farrago of word
