FRANK SOUTH (Writer and Performer) A writer, teacher and performer, Frank wrote the one-act plays 2 by South that Robert Altman directed Off-Broadway and filmed for ABC Arts. Frank is known for his work in writing, producing, and directing shows such as Cagney and Lacy, Fame, and Melrose Place among others. Frank and Margaret moved to Hawaii with their two children in 2000 where Frank continues to write and perform new work.
As a teacher, Frank specializes in “at risk” youth. In Honolulu, he runs the Creative Writing English Class for the Palama Settlement In Community Treatment Program for adjudicated teens with local slam poet Travis T.

MARK TRAVIS (Director and Developer) Mark is perhaps best known for the Solo shows that he has developed and directed over the past 15 years. Notably: Time Flies When You’re Alive, A Bronx Tale, Undressing New Jersey, Insomnia, Something In His Genes, The Dangerous Lure of High Heels, Cabin Fever, What Does The Sun Sound Like?, They Call Me Mr. Fry, Hip Bones and Cool Whip, Almost Made, Walking Back to Brooklyn and Fornicationally Challenged. Mark has been credited in the LA Times with having created a ‘new theater genre’.
His first book on film directing, The Director’s Journey became an instant best-seller (L.A. Times) and was followed by Directing Feature Films which is currently required reading by hundreds of film schools worldwide. Since 1992 Mark has been sharing his techniques on writing, acting and directing worldwide.

MARGARET SOUTH (Producer and Developer) Margaret developed television and feature film projects for Disney, Fox and Tri-Star Studios, HBO, ABC, and NBC. She produced several feature films, including the beloved Beaches, starring Bette Midler.
Margaret teaches The Art of Story, a master writing class, and consults with writers on novels, memoirs and screenplays. With her husband, Frank, Margaret developed the exciting new curriculum for children, Kids Talk Story, now being offered in schools across Hawai'i and nationwide.

KATHI O'DONOHUE (Lighting Design) Kathi O'Donohue's designs include Photograph 51 (currently at The Fountain Theatre), Ochre & Onyx (currently with the Watts Village Theatre Company), A Man's a Man, Time Flies When You're Alive, The Orange Grove (a modern adaptation of The Cherry Orchard), Gaveston (Celebration Theatre), Caterpillar Soup, Capture Now (Ruskin Theatre), Yellowman (Fountain Theatre), and Exits and Entrances (Ensemble Theatre of Santa Barbara). Other credits include: Exits and Entrances (World Premiere), Daisy in the Dreamtime (NAACP, Ovation Nomination 2004), Darker Face of the Earth, Central Avenue, Night of the Iguana, Summer and Smoke, Master Class, and I Am a Man at the Fountain Theatre; A Safe Distance and Three at The Electric Lodge; Awake and Sing at ICT; Pulp, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and Pinafore! at the Celebration Theatre; Mary Barnes and Avenue X at The Odyssey; J for J and The Rainmaker at The Rubicon Theatre; and Southern Baptist Sissies, Sordid Lives and Trials and Tribulations of a Trailer Trash Housewife at the Zephyr Theatre.

Theatre awards include Career Achievement nods (LA Drama Critics Circle, Angstrom Award and LA Weekly) and Design recognitions from the LADCC, NAACP, LA Weekly, Theatre LA Ovations (Summer and Smoke, A Midsummer Night's Dream), Garlands, and Drama-Logue.
